Beds were really comfortable. Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with other campers. Bonus garden with hammock. Great location close to Hokitika, Greymouth, and Arthur's Pass drive. Farmhouse character with lovely atmosphere. Free-range eggs available for sale. Delightful place to stay with lots of little extras. Clean and tidy caravan with awesome shower. Warm and cozy. Dog-friendly. In quaint little town with easy access to Wilderness Cycle Trail. Very happy and will stay again.

the kitchen was clean and stocked with everything you could need. Check-in and out were hassle-free, and the host, Kate, was incredibly attentive and made sure everyone was taken care of. the place had a unique and artistic vibe, with creative touches throughout the building and grounds. the common room was a great place to unwind, with games and a dart board. the hostel was clean and the beds were comfortable. the outdoor kitchen was a standout, with a focus on recycling. the Wi-Fi was reliable and the nights were quiet. I especially enjoyed the large garden with hammocks, perfect for relaxation. I highly recommend this retreat.

Stayed here with my family for a wedding. The kitchen had handy staples and check in/out was easy. Kate, the host, was kind and accommodating, even letting me stay later for a last-minute call. The staff had great communication. The villa was perfect for wedding prep and the gardens were beautiful. The massage was incredibly relaxing and the beds were comfy. The bathrooms were clean. a lovely stay and I totally recommend this retreat.

Wir hatten einen fantastischen Aufenthalt in dieser Wohnung. Die Lage ist wunderschön und der Strand ist nur wenige Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. Die Gastgeberin war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit und beantwortete unsere Fragen immer prompt über WhatsApp. Die Küche hatte alle notwendigen Utensilien, die wir im Alltag benötigten, und die Terrasse mit Meerblick war wirklich schön.

Könnte daran wohl kaum etwas Schlechtes finden.

The value for money at Greenstone Retreat was fantastic and the room was clean and cozy. The location was perfect for exploring the Wilderness Cycle Trail and the staff treated me with kindness and excellent communication.

The breakfast offerings could have been more diverse and better suited for different dietary preferences.

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at this retreat! the kitchen in our villa was incredibly well-equipped and had a super cosy atmosphere, especially with the fireplace. the host was incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. the retreat offers something for everyone, from cute units for backpackers to a place to pitch a tent, and the lovingly restored villa was filled with all the comforts we needed. We also took advantage of the on-site massages and yoga classes, which added to the overall relaxing experience. Plus, the nearby Royal Hotel had delectable food. We highly recommend the Greenstone Retreat to anyone looking for a fantastic getaway!

Great value for money, cozy room with extra blankets, and the host's local knowledge added to the overall experience. The open-air kitchen would be perfect in warmer months.

For breakfast option, it would have been nice to have a small amount of milk for a cuppa.
