I had a warm and comfortable stay at Harbourside Lodge. The staff were helpful and the location was convenient for exploring the city center. The included breakfast was a nice touch, and I appreciated the option to have meals delivered from the nearby restaurant. I would recommend this hotel for its friendly atmosphere and good amenities.

As youngsters, we loved the spacious rooms, comfy beds, and the opportunity to self-cater in the well-equipped kitchenette. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the harbor and just a short walk to the CBD. The friendly staff and delicious continental breakfast made our stay even better.

We were pleasantly surprised to find that Harbourside Lodge offered karaoke nights and had a small casino on-site. It was a fun addition to our stay, as we enjoy both karaoke and trying our luck at the casino.

Had a wonderful Christmas stay at a hotel with a stunning view of the harbor - perfect for a relaxing vacation. the room was clean and included all the necessary amenities. Loved the complimentary breakfast and having on-site car parking. the location was excellent, just a short walk from town and close to a great restaurant.

We stayed here for one night and had a great experience. This place is located in an unusual working port area that was a little out of town, but we enjoyed the view of the marina and the quietness of the industrial port area. The service was excellent, from the room service to housekeeping and laundry. The room amenities were also impressive with ironing facilities, heating, air conditioning, tea and coffee facilities, and more. We loved the outdoor dining area and the staff who went out of their way to cater to all our requests, big or small.

We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and luxurious stay without breaking the bank.

As young holiday goers, we absolutely loved the friendly and welcoming owners of the lodge. It felt like a home away from home. The magic cleaning fairy made sure our room was always spotless. The continental breakfast was superb and gave us the perfect start for our morning adventures. The rooms were meticulously clean, the bed was comfy, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We'll definitely stay again and book a room with a view of the beautiful harbor.

The location of the hotel is great, as it is just a 20-minute walk across a bridge and park to the town center. Additionally, it is close to a river, providing a scenic and pleasant hike to the town.

Some of the rooms face a concrete wall and the motel car park, which may not provide the desired aesthetic or view for guests.

the first-floor 1-bed studio was incredibly comfortable and spacious, with a pleasant view of the marina from the balcony. the hosts were friendly and helpful, ensuring that my stay was enjoyable. the continental breakfast provided was good, and there was also an option to have a cooked breakfast for a small additional cost. I found Harbourside Lodge to be one of the best motels I've stayed at during my tour of New Zealand.
