Our room at the retreat was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and convenient bedside lamps that had built-in USB ports and power points. We were pleasantly surprised to find a charming outdoor decked area accessible from our room, which would have been perfect to enjoy in the daytime. The staff were attentive and helpful, and we appreciated the free upgrade. Additionally, having a lovely restaurant next door was really convenient.

Staying here was an amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a large bed and beautiful views of the surrounding hills. I especially loved the bathroom, which had a spa bath that was perfect for relaxing. The location was great too, as it was in the main sleeping area and easy to walk into town. The Wi-Fi was excellent, and the fact that there was sports in the room meant I could even watch live Rugby. this place exceeded my expectations in terms of comfort and amenities.

had a fantastic golf trip to hanmer springs; retreat was amazing! the friendly reception, clean room, and comfy bed made our stay perfect. loved the blackout curtains and extra privacy. the associated restaurant was excellent too.

The room was fantastic! Very spacious with a comfortable bed and great-sized bathroom. the location was perfect - just a short walk to the main part of town and there were even restaurants and mini golf nearby! Check-in was easy and the staff were very friendly. Plus, the room was super tidy which was great.

There were a few issues. the electric blanket was faulty which made for a cold night.

Our stay at Hanmer Springs was amazing. The room was spotless with fresh linen, fluffy towels and everything we needed. We loved the pool, the hot tub and the secluded outdoor area. The location was perfect with everything within walking distance.

Our group of friends had a wonderful time at a hotel that had a great location close to the restaurants and entertainment of a quaint town. It was very convenient to be within walking distance of the township. The staff were accommodating and the room was spacious, with comfortable beds. We were pleasantly surprised by the delicious breakfast and found the spa bath to be a relaxing added bonus.

One of the bedside lights did not work, but it did not detract from the overall experience.

I had a fantastic stay at this retreat in Hanmer Springs. The location was perfect, with a quiet atmosphere and just a short walk to the town. The hotel facilities were great, with a large fridge, microwave, toaster, and jug in the room. The bed was comfortable and the bath was a wonderful addition. The staff were friendly and helpful, offering a complimentary drink while my room was being prepared and promptly responding to any requests. The cleanliness of the room exceeded my expectations, and the views of the mountains were the best in town. I had a pleasant experience at this retreat.

I absolutely loved this place! The location was fab with great views and it was nestled in beautiful scenic surroundings. It was far enough away from the hustle and bustle, yet still convenient enough to have a short walk to the town and spa/pool facilities. The room was spacious and had everything I needed, including a comfy bed. The staff was very good and even helped jump start my truck when the battery went flat. The on-site restaurant was very handy and had a great menu with good service. The housekeeping was excellent and the room was always clean when I returned. the service was top-notch and I truly felt relaxed and pampered during my stay.

I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
