I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming, especially Richard who served us throughout our stay. The hotel is located right in the middle of the town, making it convenient to explore nearby places like Ross on Wye, Worcester, Gloucester, and Hereford. The cleanliness of the rooms was impressive, and the recently refurbished double room we stayed in was light and airy. The breakfast offered a great selection of cooked choices, cereals, fruit, and yoghurts. The hotel also provided a fan in the room, which was a nice touch.

The room was spacious and the bed was extremely comfortable. the breakfast menu had a good variety of options and everything was cooked to perfection. the hotel's location was ideal, situated just off the main street, making it convenient for exploring the local shops and attractions.

Although the shower room could do with some cosmetic improvements, it didn't hamper our stay too much. the creaky floorboards, while expected in an old building, were a bit noisy at times.

We stayed at The Talbot for a weekend getaway and were impressed by its rich history, cozy bar with a great selection of ales, and charming dining room. The modern and comfortable accommodations, including a heavenly shower, added a touch of luxury to our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend!

The hotel's location is excellent, being right in the town centre and opposite a lovely relaxed village. The rooms are cosy and well-equipped with a TV and comfortable bed. The staff are friendly and accommodating, ensuring a pleasant stay. The breakfast provided is ample, with plenty of tea, coffee, and juice available. Furthermore, the bar area has a great atmosphere and is a perfect spot to unwind.

The food offered for breakfast was below par, lacking fresh produce and taste.

The staff was fantastic, excellent service, great evening meal, delicious breakfast, spacious and comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful welcome.

Enjoyed our New Year break. the bed was very comfy and breakfast was good. Location was perfect for exploring the area and staff were lovely and happy to assist.

the room wasn't as nice as the pictures online and the owner wasn't very welcoming. the car parking was also inconvenient.

We were initially shown to a room with a sodden carpet, but the staff quickly rectified the mistake and transferred us to a better room. The location of the hotel was perfect, right in the heart of town with easy access to nearby attractions. The breakfast provided a variety of options and was delicious. I would recommend this hotel for a pleasant stay.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of town and close to everything. The service and housekeeping were top-notch, with the staff always ready to assist and make me feel welcome. I was even greeted with a refreshing welcome drink upon arrival, which was a nice touch. The pet amenities available were also a huge plus, as I was traveling with my furry friend. The hotel also offers tours and ticket assistance, making it easy to explore the surrounding area.
