We were amazed by the spectacular views and beautiful room in the lodge. The dining experience at the castle was outstanding with stellar food and service. The property offered a fantastic tour that kept us engaged for hours.

We were pleasantly surprised by our cozy one-bedroom apartment overlooking the sea. The breathtaking view and the sound of crashing waves made for a fantastic sleep. The comfortable bed and well-equipped kitchen on the balcony were perfect for cooking our own breakfast in the sun. Bella, the staff member, was very welcoming and helpful, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location on the 3rd level provided a superb vantage point to overlook the beach from two sides.

the upgraded apartment was amazing, with a stunning view and impeccable cleanliness. Having secure parking was a bonus. The staff at reception were friendly and provided great dinner recommendations.

We absolutely loved the stunning ocean view from our room at Hotel St Clair. Falling asleep to the soothing sounds of the ocean was a highlight of our stay. The bed and bedding were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The hotel's underground parking was a convenient feature, and the friendly staff added to the pleasant experience. The location of the hotel, right next to the beach and with some great restaurants nearby, was a major plus. It was also just a short drive to the city center, making it easy to explore Dunedin.

We had an enjoyable Easter trip to a hotel. They had a free parking space, and the staff were friendly. We were given complimentary fruit bowls, which was a nice touch. the location was very convenient and offered a great view. the bed was comfortable, which made our stay even more pleasant.

Our room had not been properly cleaned. the shower was not enjoyable because of the flooded floor which had no outlet.

The hotel is conveniently located directly opposite the beautiful St Clair beach, making it a prime spot for beach lovers. Additionally, it is close to restaurants and bars, providing easy access to vibrant nightlife. The rooms are clean and luxurious, with a decent size kitchenette, allowing guests to prepare their own meals. The non-ocean view rooms even offer a glimpse of the sea. Guests can enjoy the stunning view while sipping their morning coffee or relaxing in the lounge area.

Some details were overlooked in terms of cleanliness, such as black marks on the bathroom walls and handprints on mirrors.

Although it may be a long way from amenities, we highly recommend this hotel to family. The pros far outweigh the cons as there really wasn't anything negative we could say.
