We've stayed at Intercontinental before and it's still a top-notch hotel. the check-in experience was fantastic, as we were unexpectedly upgraded to a premium room. It was spacious, impeccably clean, and had all the amenities we needed. the location is superb, right in the heart of Wellington, within walking distance to attractions like the waterfront, Te Papa, and the parliament precinct. the buffet breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed relaxing in the lounge with drinks in the evening. the staff treated us like royalty and even surprised us with a bottle of champagne and chocolates for our honeymoon. This will be our go-to hotel in the future!

We recently stayed at a 5-star hotel in Wellington and found ourselves pleasantly surprised with the facilities. The hotel was conveniently located, being close to everything we needed including restaurants and shops. It was great to have a side entrance to ANZ or at the old Bank arcade 400m or the HQ on the waterfront so close to our hotel. Our room was well-appointed, with comfortable bedding and a lovely view of the harbour. The buffet breakfast was of good quality with a range of foods on offer. The staff were helpful and knowledgeable. However, the noise from the street outside was a bit disruptive at times.

The location of the hotel is perfect, with Lambton Quay and a variety of food options nearby. Despite the construction happening outside, the room was surprisingly quiet and I had a peaceful night's sleep on the comfy bed. The room was also upgraded to a deluxe, complete with a Nespresso machine and lovely smelling toiletries. Additionally, valet parking and efficient room service made my stay even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a convenient, comfortable, and pleasant stay in Wellington.

Plus, they provided overnight charging for electric vehicles at no extra cost, a huge bonus for eco-conscious travelers like me. the staff were also incredibly friendly and helpful, providing excellent service throughout my stay.

The breakfast options at the on-site cafe were quite limited, with only one cereal option available. the service was also slow, and they struggled to accommodate specific requests.

The lounge with all-day coffee and drinks is exceptional, creating a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere. It's a great place for family and friends to gather.
