our stay at junohall backpackers was absolutely fantastic. the location was perfect and the hostel itself was cozy and spacious. the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, and we loved the outdoor amenities like the swimming pool and farm animals. it exceeded our expectations from our previous stay in waitomo caves.

We had an amazing stay at a backpackers in Waitomo. Cleanliness, comfy bed, friendly managers, great facilities, and adorable animals made it one of the best hostels we've ever stayed in.

The staff was absolutely lovely - super friendly, helpful, and hardworking. They went out of their way to make us feel welcome and went above and beyond to assist us. The facilities were awesome, especially the well-equipped kitchen which had everything we needed for cooking. The common areas were spacious, cozy, and had a great atmosphere. We also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and the opportunity to relax by the swimming pool. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and staff were the standout aspects of our stay.

The wooden chalets were charming and cozy. The kitchen was spacious, tidy, and well-equipped. The bedrooms were comfortable and had ample space for bags. The toilets and bathrooms were clean with hot water. The location was perfect, right next to a scenic trail and within walking distance to cafes and the iSITE. The customer service provided by Dave was outstanding, making my stay welcoming and enjoyable. The presence of Max, the dog, added to the lovely atmosphere. The farm right at our doorstep was a delightful bonus, offering a unique farm stay experience. I had a fantastic time at this hostel.

the staff at Junohall Backpackers were extremely friendly and Stephanie, in particular, was amazing. From attending to my special requests to sending messages throughout the day to ensure I knew how to proceed in case I arrived outside of opening hours, she went above and beyond to make my stay memorable. the hostel itself was very clean and had a super cozy vibe. the shared living room area was a great place to socialize with other travelers, and the kitchen was well-equipped. I would definitely book here again when I return to the area.

The location was spot on! It was conveniently situated close to the main attractions and made it easy for us to explore the area. the well-equipped kitchen was a pleasant surprise, allowing us to cook our own meals and save some money. Plus, the friendly staff made us feel welcome and were always ready to answer our questions.

the furniture in the room was quite old and worn out, which detracted from the overall comfort. the lack of free internet was a major disappointment.

I had a fantastic time staying at Juno Hall! The staff made me feel right at home with their warm and friendly hospitality. The lounge area was cozy and spacious, complete with a fireplace that added an extra touch of comfort. The bed was comfortable and the facilities were kept clean throughout my stay. Another highlight was being able to meet and interact with the farm animals on the premises. I highly recommend Juno Hall to anyone looking for accommodation in the area.

Everything is what I need and want.

We loved the farm stay experience, with lamb feedings and animals right on our doorstep. The staff were incredibly friendly and provided impeccable customer service. The lounge with a fire and the huge DVD collection were fantastic additions. The well-equipped kitchen and natural light were also highlights. The location, next to a scenic trail and within walking distance of cafes and the iSITE, was perfect for adventure travelers like us.

Felt like home, with no complaints whatsoever.

The hostel had a great big kitchen with everything we needed and a fantastic living area for socializing and relaxing. The log fire made it cosy and welcoming, and we felt right at home. The rooms were clean and the owner was friendly. We loved the beautiful setting and the large kitchen and lounge areas. The staff was super friendly and helpful, and the facilities were clean and well-maintained.

the receptionist was incredibly friendly and even gave us a ride to the bus stop with our bags. the location was perfect, with stunning scenic trails nearby and the visitor center and caves within easy walking distance. the hostel itself had everything we needed, including a pool and the opportunity to feed adorable animals. the atmosphere was welcoming and fun, thanks to the hilarious receptionist and the presence of a friendly dog. the kitchen and facilities were well-equipped and clean, and the shared room was spacious and comfortable. this has easily become our favorite backpackers so far!

The common area was fantastic, with a big kitchen fully equipped and a cozy living room where we could relax, play board games, and watch TV by the log fire. The owner, along with his adorable little dog, made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk from the rafting tour. The hotel facilities were great, including comfortable beds and clean bathrooms. The staff, especially Steph at reception, were friendly and helpful throughout our weekend stay.
