I recently stayed at a motel in the Kapiti area and had a great experience. The room was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the hot tub, which you could book for 30-minute sessions. The motel's location was also very convenient, with the Waikanae village and train station nearby. I used the motel as a base to explore the shops in Otaki and visit the Nga Manu Sanctuary. I was impressed with my stay at Kapiti Gateway Motel.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Clean and comfortable 2 bedroom unit. Staff easily accommodated extra room for friends. Well-equipped kitchen and plenty of hot water. Kids enjoyed play area with trampoline and pool. Quiet location near shops.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location was perfect for us, being right on State Highway 1 and within walking distance to the shopping Village. The room was clean and comfortable, and had all the amenities we needed including a well-equipped kitchen. The staff were friendly and helpful, and made us feel very welcome. We also loved the outdoor swimming pool and jacuzzi, which were great for relaxing after a day of activities. this hotel offered everything we needed for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with excellent service.

Lovely pool, refreshing in hot weather. Fantastic cleanliness, tidy room. Convenient location, close to shops. Quiet atmosphere, minimal noise. Comfy beds, great shower pressure. Spacious bathroom, lots of pillows. Close to Saturday markets. Feels like home away from home.

The staff were friendly and provided us with some great recommendations for places to eat in the area. The room was clean and had good wifi connection. It was conveniently located near the train station and within walking distance to local shops.

Our stay was unpleasant due to the loud noise of nearby trains throughout the day and night. It made it extremely difficult to get a good night's sleep.

Had a lovely 2 night stay at a motel in a convenient location. The pool was refreshing, and the cleanliness was fantastic. Super close to shops and takeaways. Minimal noise despite being busy. Beds were super comfy, and the shower had good pressure. Enjoyed the comforts of home away from home.
