The location of the hotel is incredibly convenient, just across from H&J Smith Department store and in the center of Invercargill. It is nearby to all the necessary amenities and provides easy access to city attractions.

The lack of adequate heating made my stay uncomfortably cold. Despite finding a heater in the cupboard, running it all night didn't provide enough warmth.

Convenient location, spacious and clean rooms, good air conditioning, friendly staff, on-site restaurant with great food. Secure parking available.

My recent stay at the Kelvin Hotel was truly enjoyable. I was in Invercargill for a quick business trip and found the hotel's location to be ideal. It is situated in the heart of the CBD, making it convenient to reach nearby restaurants and shops. The reception area had a warm and welcoming feel, and the spaciousness and nice decor were a pleasant surprise. The breakfast provided was delicious, and the staff were consistently polite and friendly. Additionally, the hotel's proximity to a taxi rank made it convenient for me to travel to and from the airport.

Can't recommend highly enough this hotel.

We had a comfortable stay at Kelvin. The room was clean and had a nice view. The front desk staff were helpful and approachable. We enjoyed the meals at the in-house restaurant, they were good value for money. I would recommend this hotel.

We had a romantic escape at a hotel in a great location, opposite a popular shopping spot and within a convenient distance to the Civic center for shows. The room was clean, comfy, and offered a beautiful view. We also enjoyed the delicious meals served at the in-house restaurant, with generous portions and good value for money.

There were a couple of downsides to our stay. The breakfast options were somewhat limited, with not much variety in cereal and dry croissants.

This hotel is located in the center of Invercargill, making it convenient for exploring the city and accessing all necessary amenities. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were spacious and had a south-facing window, allowing for plenty of natural light. We also appreciated the large bathroom and the option to have three beds in our room. The breakfast included in our rate was a great bonus.

The only minor issue was that the room could have benefited from having air conditioning, as it got a little stuffy during the afternoon. However, overall, our stay was fantastic and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at this hotel.
