My business trip to King And Queen Hotel Suites in New Plymouth was nothing short of exceptional. the hotel, chosen by our director, truly exceeded our expectations. the central location was ideal, with the impressive Len Lye building just across the road. Starting our days at Monica’s with delicious food and coffee set a positive tone for our stay. the quirky charm of the hotel added a unique touch to our experience. Initially planning for a one, night stay, we ended up extending for two more nights due to flight cancellations, and the team seamlessly accommodated us. the soundproof rooms around the central courtyard provided a peaceful retreat. the variety of dining and drinking options, from Ms White's wood, fired pizzas to the intimate Itch Bar, catered to our every need.

larger rooms, moroccan design, and impeccable service truly set it apart. the local discounts, comfy beds, and seamless check-in process made us feel at home.

The bed was so cozy, I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud. the staff were top-notch, making sure everything was just right. the location was perfect for exploring on foot, and bonus points for the free bikes—I felt like a kid again. the room upgrade was a pleasant surprise, and the toiletries were a nice touch. The one bedroom suite at King And Queen Hotel Suites was pure comfort - spacious, with a private balcony overlooking the courtyard. I felt like royalty in that cozy lounge area.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Taranaki. the bath tub in our suite was absolutely luxurious, and I couldn't resist indulging in a long, relaxing soak. the bed was extremely comfortable, providing the perfect night's sleep after a busy day exploring. the room itself was tastefully decorated and well appointed, offering everything we needed for a comfortable stay. the hotel's location was fantastic, with a great choice of eateries just a block away. We particularly enjoyed Monica's Eatery for breakfast, where the food was delicious and the coffee superb. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to returning in the future.

Fabulous people and location! the staff were incredibly helpful during our 5-night stay. They promptly fixed a door lock issue and the engineer examined the heating problem. the suite we stayed in had a well-equipped kitchen, comfy living area, and a separate bedroom. the hotel's prime location in the city center made it easy for us to access bars, restaurants, and eateries nearby. Plus, the boardwalk was just a short walk away, offering stunning views. it was perfect for a short stay.

The biggest drawback was the lack of a window that could be opened for fresh air. We had to rely on the air conditioning for ventilation.

Located in a bustling area, surrounded by a variety of restaurants and cafes, this hotel offers convenience at its best. You can enjoy delicious meals at nearby Frederics, with its rustic charm, or grab a satisfying breakfast at Monicas Eatery just across the road. The spacious rooms are beautifully furnished, providing a comfortable stay. The attention to detail is impeccable, from the bathroom products to the complimentary chocolates. The friendly staff adds to the positive experience, making you feel welcome throughout your stay.

One drawback is that some rooms overlook the atrium, where music can be heard late into the night. The floor-to-ceiling metal shutters, although meant for soundproofing, can give the room a slightly confined ambiance.

The rooms had no views, but looked down to the bar/courtyard. The left wing studios had a great bed and extra sound barrier doors. The staff were welcoming and helpful. The room had nice extras like muesli and fresh milk.

We had a fantastic stay at this place! The location was perfect, with everything we needed right at our fingertips. We loved being right across the street from the Govett Brewster gallery and having lots of restaurant and bar options within walking distance. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff available for room service, car hire, and more. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed, with great amenities like a mini-bar, in-room safe, and free toiletries. We also appreciated the hotel's leisure options, including a spa and wellness centre and live entertainment.

We had a lovely romantic escape and enjoyed the complementary bottle of wine and chocolates in our room upon arrival. the hotel is located in a quaint town with beautiful natural scenery nearby. the room was cozy and had a comfortable bed that made for a peaceful night's sleep.

The room was dimly lit and could have used more natural light. the bathroom had a shower curtain instead of a screen which made it difficult to keep the water from getting on the floor.

Great size, friendly staff, good location. Amazing room, upgraded, spotless, gorgeous bathroom, comfy beds. Excellent amenities, faultless decor. Large towels, extra items provided. Roomy balcony for evening relaxation. Best accommodation experienced.

Great location - at the top end of the main street, opposite the Len Lye gallery yet really quiet. Fabulous Queen Victoria suite - separate lounge and beautiful bedroom, guaranteeing a great night's sleep. Room service and a great deck with a dining table for leisurely moments gazing at the gallery and people watching. Second-to-none staff - accommodating and upgraded us at a discounted price. Clean, modern room with a view of the sea in the distance. Vibrant original artwork hanging on the walls. Part of a complex with a high-quality cafe, restaurant, and other local businesses. Proximity to the art gallery, waterfront, and town centre. Amazing place that exceeded all expectations. Spotless, roomy, gorgeous bathroom, and huge comfy beds. Every amenity you could need and impeccable decor. Roomy balcony for relaxing evenings outdoors. The Ozone cafe, part of the hotel's owner's restaurant group, provided excellent food, service, and coffee. Artistic and relaxing ambiance with a sunny courtyard to sit and unwind.
