The hotel exceeded my expectations with its attention to detail and value for money. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the stunning location by the lake. The rooms, although small, were full of character and had a superb view of the picturesque lake. The communal bathrooms were clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The breakfast offered was satisfying and the staff were friendly and accommodating.

All was perfect.

Over Christmas I stayed in a lodge that was surrounded by breathtaking scenery. the location was perfect, with a view of the snow-covered mountains in the distance, and the food was top-notch. the lodge had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, with blankets to keep us warm and hot water bottles to use. the kitchen was well-equipped and we were able to cook our own meals. the staff were friendly and offered great service.

The bed was not as comfortable as I had hoped. It was a bit too firm and caused some discomfort.

We absolutely loved our stay at the lodge! The history and charm of the property were captivating. The newly renovated rooms with beautiful wallpaper and comfortable bedding were delightful. The shared bathrooms were large and clean. We appreciated the fresh water cart outside our room and the fantastic hot drink station in the morning. The highlight was the delicious breakfast overlooking the lake with the sunrise over the mountains. It felt truly magical.

Felt safe walking at night, nothing was too much trouble.
