The location was excellent, with easy access to the main shopping street and other attractions in the area.- The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing great recommendations for things to do and places to eat.

There were some issues with the TV due to loadshedding. While it wasn't a big deal for me since I'm not a huge fan of TV, it could be a problem for others.

I recently stayed at Maison Chablis in Franschhoek for a few nights and it was an absolute hidden gem. The charm of this hotel is unmatched, especially compared to the chain hotels we Americans are used to. The location is perfect, just a block off the main street and within walking distance of top restaurants. The upstairs room we stayed in was private and cozy, although I would recommend traveling with smaller suitcases. The breakfast provided was ample and delicious, and the staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my local friends.
