Clean and fresh, nice outside area, good thick towels, friendly owners, gave advice on where to eat out.

The property had a nice balcony with a view of a little creek and beautiful trees. the hosts were very helpful in arranging breakfast prior to our arrival. the location was perfect, within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops in the area.

Our stay was ruined by the strong smell of cigarettes coming from the couple below us who were smokers. We couldn't stay outside on our balcony for too long because of the unpleasant odor.

Convenient location near activities and town center, with new owners who are helpful and eager to please. Comfortable room with a little balcony for a airy feel. Clean, tidy, and quiet, nestled next to a stream with lovely birdsong.

Nothing that I didn't like.

Our stay at La Rochelle Motel was fantastic. The room was spacious and modern, with a smart kitchen area equipped with everything we needed. The owners were extremely friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. They provided a travel cot for our little one, helped with our laundry, and even organized a boat tour for us. We also loved the private garden setting and the peaceful atmosphere. we had a perfect stay and would highly recommend La Rochelle Motel.

We had a delightful stay at a motel in Akaroa. The room was warm and comfortable, and the shower/bath was perfect. We loved sitting on the balcony in the morning, listening to the birds in the trees. The staff were incredibly nice and always willing to help with anything we needed. I would highly recommend this motel for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The hosts were welcoming and provided great tips for things to do in the area. The location was convenient, within walking distance to everything but still quiet and private. We also enjoyed waking up to the beautiful birdsong from our balcony. a fantastic stay for families with children.

The motel is conveniently located close to everything, with the town centre and the harbour just a short walk away. The beautiful garden setting, with a stream flowing through it, adds to the peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious and very clean, with comfortable beds ensuring a good night's sleep. The hosts, Erica and Trev, are extremely helpful and provide excellent service, offering maps and advice on local walks and activities.

There was some noise from the plumbing, which disturbed our sleep.

Didn't dislike anything about the property

I recently stayed at a charming motel in a picturesque location alongside a small stream. The upper rear room I was allocated was quiet and comfortable for my three-night stay. The motel had parking on-site, a well-equipped kitchen, and even a spa bath. The staff were extremely accommodating and the motel was away from the more touristy areas, which was a nice touch. The nearby nature walk at Rue Grehan was absolutely gorgeous.

We loved the cozy vibe and the friendly staff. The room was clean and comfy with a great shower, and the bed was amazing! The supplied cookies, coffees, and teas were a delicious touch. Perfect for friends who love going out at nights.

Our favorite hotel of our trip! Fantastic location, lovely host. the room was gorgeous, and we loved the balcony overlooking a babbling brook. the laundry facilities were a welcome amenity, and our host graciously allowed us to leave our car and laundry even after checking out. We wish we could have stayed for more than one night!

The only downside was that our room was located next to the main road, so we had to keep the blinds down. Additionally, there was a fire alarm incident where staff had to come into our room to reset it, as the reset boxes were located inside.
