The playground equipment, particularly the seesaws and trampoline, appeared poorly maintained and unsafe for use.

The breathtaking views of Lake Ruataniwha truly added to our experience. The park had a cozy, farm-stay vibe that my family loved, providing a welcoming atmosphere for all ages.

Unfortunately, the cabin we stayed in was a bit dated. The shared sanitary facilities were lacking some maintenance, which made it less comfortable than expected.

staying here offered us beautiful views of Lake Ruataniwha, and it was only about 500 meters from the park where we enjoyed walking and soaking in the scenery. We loved the friendly staff who made us feel welcomed immediately and the cozy atmosphere that was perfect for our weekend strolls around the area, with great walking spots like the stunning High Country Salmon just a few minutes away by car.

this place is a so-called holiday park where, apparently, you have to ask for essential cooking utensils? Plus the outdated shared sanitary facilities? not worth even a second glance. I almost gave a good review, but they didn’t even offer a complimentary upgrade for such inconveniences.

It was just a reliable pick for shopping in Twizel with decent value for money. The shared kitchen was surprisingly warm, making it a nice spot to cook despite some missing supplies. Bring your own dish soap if you want to wash up easily.

We stayed in a family unit right near the playground, which was perfect for the kids! The setup was just right, and everyone got to unwind. Plus, we loved chilling in the picnic area outside. Only wish they had free wi-fi though, made it a bit tricky to share our awesome lake pics on the spot!

The spacious Three-Bedroom House was perfect for our large group, and the cleanliness was commendable. A well-equipped kitchen made meal prep a breeze. Late check-in was a bonus, but access to utensils could be smoother. Overall, a nice place for family time, just a tad noisy at night.

The holiday park had a lovely farm-stay vibe that my family and I totally enjoyed. We found the full bathroom complex perfect for big group retreats, and it was refreshing to park right at our door. Plus, the playground kept the kids entertained for hours!

For dads, it would be great if the playground equipment was better maintained.
