I had a fantastic stay at the motel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the cooking facilities were excellent. The peaceful countryside setting was perfect, with beautiful grounds and gardens to enjoy. The location was great, within easy reach of both Dunedin and the local Mosgiel area. Parking was convenient, and the hotel facilities, including the full SKY channel selection, were top-notch. It was also a bonus that the motel is pet-friendly, with a special exercising area for dogs. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, facilities, location, and the opportunity for kids to run around and have fun.

I had the most amazing stay at this luxurious 4-star hotel! The location was perfect for me as it was in close proximity to Mosgiel and within an easy drive to Dunedin. The hotel itself was beautiful and very peaceful, allowing me to relax and unwind. The best part was that they even welcomed dogs, so I was able to bring my furry friend along with me. The staff were so helpful and friendly, going above and beyond their call of duty to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The room was well-appointed with all the necessary amenities and even had a kitchen and dining area. Additionally, the hotel had a variety of leisure facilities such as BBQ facilities and a sun terrace, making it an ideal place for families or groups.

The room was amazing, spotlessly clean, and had everything I needed for a self-catering stay. The friendly staff welcomed me late at night and even turned on the heaters ahead of my arrival. The hotel's location close to the airport and with covered car parking made it convenient for me to explore the surrounding areas. Additionally, the peaceful and quiet surroundings, with beautiful views of the low hills, provided a sense of tranquility.

The facilities at this motel exceeded my expectations. the rooms were spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the kitchenette was well-equipped with everything I needed. the motel's peaceful and quiet atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing stay. I also appreciated the country location, which was convenient for both Mosgiel and the nearby Dunedin airport.

One issue I encountered was the extra charges for leaving the room unclean. It would have been better if the staff had informed me about these charges before charging my credit card.

The location was perfect for us, with beautiful views and well-maintained gardens. The "green" touches, like recycling toilet water for irrigation and solar heating, were impressive. The breakfast was generous and the homemade marmalade was exceptional. The owners/managers were great, accommodating our request to stay in a larger cabin together. The cabins themselves were in great condition and the grounds were well-kept. The motel is also pet-friendly and has sports gear available for guests.

We loved our stay at Longbourne Lodge! Perfect for car travelers with easy parking and convenient access from SH1. The spacious, well-appointed cabins with a kitchen were just what we needed. The friendly welcome and the heating turned on for our arrival made us feel right at home. The huge bathroom was a bonus. The owners/managers were fantastic and even accommodated a last-minute change to keep our family together in a larger cabin. The grounds were beautiful, and we appreciated the special dog exercising area. Interesting facts on the noticeboard added a fun touch to our stay.

We stayed for 5 nights, with several other family members joining us for 2-4 nights, all attending a family wedding nearby. This property provided the perfect space for us to spread out and enjoy our time together. The staff were incredibly accommodating and made our stay even better. The heater and electric blankets were a lifesaver during the chilly Dunedin weather. Everything in the motel was new and immaculately clean, truly catering to our needs. The value for money was exceptional, and the friendly and helpful staff added to our enjoyment. The kitchen facilities were top-notch, and the location offered a beautiful rural outlook, providing a peaceful and relaxing environment. We will definitely make Longbourne Lodge our go-to accommodation when visiting and highly recommend it to everyone.
