We stumbled upon this lovely inn while out exploring and decided to grab lunch. The exterior was inviting with ample parking, and we were pleasantly surprised to find that they allowed dogs in a designated area of the bar. The young lady who served us was friendly and helpful, and the menu had a good variety of options. We opted for the Cornish haddock, chips, and peas, and the portion was generous and absolutely delicious. We couldn't find fault with anything. Definitely worth a visit if you're in the area.

The hotel had a few drawbacks. the noisy floorboards outside the rooms were also a nuisance and could disrupt sleep.
