We got great value for our money at Mackenzie Motels. The room was cozy with a spacious bathroom, a big comfy bed, and a small courtyard. The staff were super friendly and helpful, even recommending an excellent restaurant for dinner.

The breakfast experience could have been improved with better communication during check-in.

Lacked entertainment options.

I recently stayed at a beautiful and modern motel in Fairlie. The reception was welcoming and the room had undergone a fantastic makeover. The bed was incredibly comfortable with heating and air conditioning. The motel also offered undercover off-street parking and was within close walking distance to the township. The communication with the owner, Cynthia, was great and the check-in process was easy and flexible. The beds and pillows were comfy, and everything was super clean. I also appreciated having my own parking space right in front of the room. Cynthia even went above and beyond to help me with a lost item. I highly recommend this motel to anyone visiting Lake Tekapo and the surrounding area. It offers great value for money compared to other accommodations in the region.
