We absolutely loved the warm and welcoming atmosphere at this B&B. The owners, Susan and Den, were incredibly friendly and made us feel like old friends. The location was peaceful and quiet, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. And we can't forget to mention Boz, their friendly Border collie, who quickly became best friends with our children!

We stayed at Mahinapua Retreat B&B for a few nights as a central base for our day trips to Franz Josef and Punakaki. The location was perfect - not too far out of town, yet quiet and peaceful. The hosts, Susan and Den, were delightful and very knowledgeable about the area. The self-designed and built B&B was beautifully crafted and tastefully decorated. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the breakfast served by Susan was lovely. Boz, the friendly dog, added to the charm of our stay.

We had a wonderful stay at a peaceful retreat surrounded by a beautiful forest. The room and bathroom were impeccably clean, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. We were delighted to be able to bring our dog along with us, and the owners were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast selection was delicious, and the gardens were lovely.
