My recent stay at Pension San Telmo/San Juan was a great experience. The location couldn't have been better, right in the heart of San Sebastian's old town. It was incredibly convenient to walk to the beach and explore the fantastic bars in the area. The pension itself was clean and well-maintained, providing a comfortable place to sleep. Although the furniture looked a bit tired, it didn't affect my stay since I mainly used the room for resting. The staff, despite speaking only Spanish, were friendly and accommodating.

Excellent location in the heart of the old town, making it easy to explore the charming streets and enjoy the vibrant food and drink scene. The hotel was impeccably clean, which was a big plus for me. Conveniently close to the main bus station and within walking distance to both the surfing beach and the protected cove beach. The staff, although speaking mainly Spanish, were friendly and helpful.
