The property was absolutely lovely! The apartment we stayed in was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The check-in and check-out process was super easy and hassle-free. The location of the motel was fantastic, with stunning views of the mountains. We also enjoyed having a small balcony where we could admire the view. The kitchen area was well-equipped, and the large fridge came in handy. we had a wonderful stay at Mondello and would highly recommend it to others. We'll definitely be staying here again when we visit Kaikoura next time.

Mind-blowing new place with TV in bedrooms and lounge. Nice clean room, good location. Super staff, especially Rosalie, who checked on me when I felt ill and gave me her private cell number for any emergencies. GREAT service!

We got great value for our money at Mondello. The room was clean, tidy, and had a nice big TV with excellent wifi. The location was perfect, close to the town center and within walking distance to restaurants and shops. The staff treated us warmly, from the manager who greeted us with a smile and gave us helpful travel tips, to the friendly owners who fixed a shower issue promptly. We loved the stunning view of the Seaward Kaikouras from our room's balcony and the comfort of the large studio room with a well-stocked kitchenette. Can't wait to come back for a longer stay!
