The name did not disappoint with great views of Mt Cook! Staying in the family units was a bit older compared to the main units, but they provided everything we needed. the inside was a bit dated, but the kitchenette was good and had enough for us to cook and eat in. the hosts were thoughtful and had the heater on for our arrival, so it started to warm up nicely. the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was superb. We also appreciated the helpful advice from the receptionist about doing the Fox Glacier walk due to heavy rain.

Couldn't find any faults at all. 😊

We recently stayed at this hotel and were impressed by the peaceful and serene location surrounded by mountains. The rooms were well-equipped with all amenities including an electric blanket for added comfort. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcomed throughout our stay. This place offers laundry services and a fully equipped kitchen, adding to the convenience of the stay.

I had a lovely stay at a charming motel surrounded by beautiful scenery. My room was well-equipped, the bed was comfy, and the shower had great water pressure. Despite not being in the central township, the quiet location offered stunning views from every angle. The staff were friendly, and there was even a cute pony on the property! I would definitely stay at this motel again.

Our stay at the accommodation was pleasant. The unit was well appointed and spotlessly clean, providing a comfortable experience. The young woman staff member warmly welcomed us and provided helpful information.

I had a minor issue with a nauseating smell emanating from the shower drain during my stay. However, I believe this was an isolated incident and not a common occurrence.

Gorgeous views of the snow-capped mountains and serene farm surroundings. Friendly and accommodating owners who helped organize a chopper flight over the glacier. - Enjoyed the peaceful and beautiful location.

Sporadic and unreliable wifi service. Saucepans in the kitchen were too small for preparing meals for a group of four.

The complementary mince pies and Christmas cake were a nice touch, and the location was perfect for exploring the nearby glaciers and lakes. the views of the mountains were breathtaking, especially during the clear Christmas morning. the room was spacious and had a well-stocked kitchenette.

The shower was a bit of a letdown as it had barely any water pressure. the heating system could have been better as we had to use two old heaters to keep the room warm enough.

Clean room. Short drive to Lake Matheson. Owner gave recommendation and booked next destination. Peaceful and quiet location with unobstructed mountain views. Suitable for families with play area and nearby laundry.

We had a fantastic stay at this motel. The room was spacious and had a lovely outlook. It was very well equipped with everything we needed, including utensils for cooking, a TV, Wi-Fi, and outdoor seating. The cleanliness of the room was spotless, and the hotel facilities, such as the guest laundry room, were great. The location was convenient, as it was a short drive to the main street with plenty of parking, restaurants, and an information center. Additionally, it was also a short drive to Lake Matheson for beautiful views of Mount Cook.

Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.

Spacious room with a newly renovated bathroom. Good water pressure and consistent temperature in the rain shower. Well-equipped kitchen for preparing meals. Comfortable beds. Easy late check-in process. Great view. Very close to the lake and town center. Able to drive right up to the room for convenient unloading. Located near Mt Tasmin and Mt Cook.

Felt extremely happy, nothing to complain about.
