We had a fantastic time staying at this secluded studio by the ocean. The location was breathtaking, with stunning views of the beach and easy access to the sand. The room was clean and comfortable, with a whirlpool bath for a relaxing soak. The beautiful garden provided a peaceful spot to enjoy the ocean view, and the host was friendly and welcoming.

The chairs in the room were not very comfortable for extended periods of sitting.

We got amazing value for our money at Ohiwa Seascape Studios! The room was simply wonderful, with breathtaking beach views, a comfy bed, and a luxurious spa bath. The location was perfect, nestled among beautiful Pohutukawa trees and the sound of the crashing waves. The staff treated us like royalty, ensuring our stay was perfect in every way.

The breakfast option could be improved by offering a greater variety of choices.

We enjoyed the peace and quiet of the location, as well as the beautiful views of the sea and nature surrounding us. the room was well-equipped with cooking facilities, allowing us to prepare a lovely meal for a romantic evening in. the fact that there was a spa bath was a major plus, making it a truly relaxing experience.

The television was outdated and the electric hum it emitted made it impossible to watch anything. the assigned parking was quite problematic due to a narrow, steep driveway.

the studio was thoughtfully laid out, and I especially enjoyed having breakfast and dinner at the outside dining area. the nearby Onekawa Te Mawhai regional park offered a nice loop walk with breathtaking views. After a 7.5km walk, returning to the studio's spa bath was a delightful experience. the hosts were friendly and provided a lovely garden to relax in. a top-notch accommodation choice with a fabulous location.

We had a fantastic time staying here. The location is absolutely stunning, nestled in a beautiful area of the east coast. The hotel is just steps away from a kilometer-long beach with fine sand, perfect for swimming and long walks. The view from our apartment overlooking the garden and the ocean in the background was breathtaking. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a cozy sitting area and a spacious bathroom with a whirlpool. We loved the attention to detail, from the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable bed and the sound of the sea lulling us to sleep. The host was also very friendly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

Highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and tranquil getaway. You won't be disappointed!

Kilometer-long beach just 3 minutes walk away, perfect for swimming and evening walks. Remote location ideal for stargazing. Friendly host. Will definitely return.

the hospitality and discrete, private location were so refreshing. the atmosphere was next level, with the sound of waves crashing on the beach in the distance and a stunning view of Pohutukawa trees surrounding the house. the room was beautifully designed, with a bi-fold window that opened to a wall of native flora and large wooden shutters giving a tropical island vibe. the small comforts like a glass bottle of milk and freshly ground coffee made a huge difference. We felt relaxed and connected, and we can't wait to return in the future.
