Room 4 felt like a stuffy cell with no windows. Inadequate fan and uncomfortable bed caused difficulty sleeping.

The hotel is conveniently located just across the road from the railway station, making it easily accessible by public transport. It is also close to a night club that plays music until 3am, which kept us awake during our stay. Additionally, there are lots of decent cafes nearby for breakfast and restaurants/pubs for lunch/dinner.

The lack of parking can be inconvenient, especially for those looking for an isolated country break.

Felt like home, no reason to complain

Loved the spacious and comfortable rooms, definitely exceeded our expectations for a pub room. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to assist us throughout our stay. The location was spot on, right in the heart of everything, making it easy to explore and sightsee. The lively pub downstairs added to the vibrant atmosphere, yet once we were in our room, we couldn't hear a thing. it was an exceptional experience that we would highly recommend to anyone visiting this charming coastal town.

The public parking across the road, which had a maximum price per day and ended at 11:59 pm. It's important not to forget to get a ticket early in the morning to avoid any inconveniences.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The Station Inn is a gem of a find in this charming town. the location couldn't be better - right in the heart of everything Whitby has to offer. You can easily explore all the sights and attractions on foot. Secondly, the service and staff are top-notch. They were friendly, attentive, and went the extra mile to make our stay enjoyable. Lastly, the rooms were a pleasant surprise. Our room on the 2nd floor had a great view over the heart of town and was well-fitted out. The equipped bathroom was a nice touch.

We stayed at The Station Inn for a few nights and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, right on the quayside and opposite the train station. The room was cosy and clean, with a comfortable bed and plenty of storage space. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our stay. The pub itself had a great atmosphere, with a good selection of drinks and even a smartphone quiz. Free wifi and a nearby car park were added bonuses. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others.

The location of the hotel was perfect for our Christmas break. We were able to explore the sights with ease and the nearby car park was very affordable. The rooms were tastefully decorated and came equipped with everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. We especially enjoyed the cozy bed and the stunning view of the harbor from our window.

The noise level in the evening. The hotel is located near a busy area and we could hear some noise from the street and downstairs pub.
