Had a great time at the hotel by the river with a charming historic vibe. LOVED the outdoor dining area. Service was slow, but the jacuzzi made up for it. Would stay again! Photos don't do justice to the hot spring bath.

The stay was lovely by the rushing river! slow service was disappointing, but thermal pools on the river bank stole my heart ❤ breakfast included & cozy room with a view.

The hotel is situated next to a beautiful river, providing a picturesque view. The public areas of the premises were spacious and well-maintained, creating a pleasant atmosphere. The restaurant, which could accommodate a large number of people, had a charming setup. The breakfast served at the hotel was delicious, and the brewed coffee was particularly noteworthy.

The bathroom in the room was small and poorly maintained.

I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The location was absolutely perfect, and the staff provided exceptional service. The housekeeping was top-notch, and the room amenities were impressive. I loved the terrace and the sitting area, which were great places to relax and unwind. The jacuzzi in the garden area was an absolute highlight for me, and the sun terrace was a great place to catch some rays. The dining options were also fantastic - I particularly enjoyed the breakfast and the special diet menus. I had a wonderful experience here.

Families should definitely consider staying at this hotel - it has a great variety of leisure activities to keep everyone entertained.

Amazing Hot Springs Experience!

I had an amazing time at Okoroire! The hot springs were absolutely wonderful, providing the perfect relaxation and rejuvenation. The serene atmosphere and beautiful surroundings made it even more enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for a truly rejuvenating stay.

Great size chalet, in need of upgrades. Dining room closed, but good bar food. Hardworking staff. Would visit again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the old hotel atmosphere, reasonable price, substantial cooked breakfast, opportunity to play golf, and excellent dinner despite the busy Christmas season. The staff were exceptional and the location is a gem.

As someone who is backpacking, I loved the renovated vintage building and picturesque surroundings. The staff were friendly, the bistro menu was varied, and the food was excellent. The location was perfect for day trips to Waitomo Caves, Tauranga, and Rotorua. The hot pools were amazing, clean, and had a magical view. A hidden gem indeed!

We enjoyed the beautiful hot springs and the lovely clean room with friendly staff. the complementary coffee and tea was a nice touch, and the natural surroundings were stunning.

The spa in our room hadn't been cleaned, and the staff was clearly overworked and understaffed. the reception was chaotic, and there was no sign of management available to assist.

The room had character and a comfortable bed. Lovely staff. Cosy rooms. Good menu. Hot pools wonderful. Beautifully heated rooms with water radiators and electric blankets. Private outdoor spa with the Chalet. 9 hole golf course. Great location. Helpful staff.
