The setting of La Cabriere Country House is simply breathtaking, with stunning views of the mountains and a peaceful rural atmosphere. The location is also perfect, just a short walk from town and conveniently close to wineries. I appreciated the helpful advice from the manager about using Uber, which turned out to be a cost-effective transportation option. The breakfast spread was delicious, offering a wide variety of choices. The rooms were modern, well-maintained, and offered all the comforts we needed. the value for the price in this region was exceptional.

Although the hotel was near perfect, there were a few minor issues. The blue light from the aircon unit in the room was a bit annoying for those who prefer a dark sleeping environment.

The warm and friendly staff made me feel right at home from the moment I arrived. The food at the hotel was absolutely delicious, and I especially loved the afternoon tea and cake at 4pm. The Gardner provided a unique service of tending to the beautiful grounds during the day and offering a door-to-door taxi service at night. The hotel also had a lovely touch of providing chilled fizz on arrival to my room. The air conditioning and fan in the room worked perfectly to keep me comfortable during my stay.

And I must mention the breakfast - it was absolutely delicious! From perfectly cooked eggs to an array of fruit salads, yogurt museli, croissants, and a full cooked English breakfast, there was something for everyone. I had a heavenly experience at this country house and would highly recommend it.

We especially enjoyed the fact that it was within walking distance of the town, making it convenient to explore and try out the world, class restaurants. the staff was also very friendly and accommodating, making sure that our room was pre, heated for our comfort during the chilly Easter weekend.

We were slightly disappointed with the room we were allocated. It was quite small and lacked privacy as the door opened directly onto the well, trodden route to the car park.
