We had a wonderful stay at a stunning lodge with breathtaking views. The owner, Gloria, was incredibly friendly and provided us with valuable tips for exploring the area. The lodge was spotlessly clean, and the shared living room was comfortable. The location by the beach was absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend this accommodation option.

The location of the hotel is perfect for a relaxing getaway, with its stunning view of the Pacific Ocean. You can enjoy the great sunrise right from your room, or take a short walk to the beach. The rooms are comfortable and well-equipped, and the bathrooms are clean and tidy. The staff is friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome throughout your stay. The lodge also offers facilities like a communal living area, kitchen, and automatic lights in the bathroom areas.

There was an issue with the heating in the kitchen and lounge area, making it uncomfortable to cook and eat without warm clothing.

We had a fantastic stay at Old Bones Lodge. The warm welcome from Karen and her adorable dog, Jessie, made us feel right at home. The comfortable bed and cozy fireplace were perfect for relaxing after a long day. We loved the hot tubs scattered around the property, providing a tranquil and relaxing atmosphere. And being just a stone's throw away from the beach, we could even hear the soothing sound of the surf from our room. Highly recommended!

The layout was a bit odd with the bedrooms off of the communal space and kitchen. Noisy in the morning, but considerate guests.

From the moment I arrived, I felt welcomed and comfortable. the reception staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my luxurious needs were met during my stay. Located by a stunning beach, this hotel allows for easy access to take a relaxing stroll or take a dip in the crystal-clear waters. the Jacuzzi was a highlight, offering exclusive amenities to help unwind and relax.

Although the garden area was lovely, the outdoor seating was uncomfortable and needed cushions to make it more comfortable for extended periods.

Absolutely mind-blowing place, with only one other couple, we practically had the whole lodge to ourselves! The common area was super cosy and comfortable, with an abundance of reading material. The cooking facilities were great and the beds were jaw-droppingly comfortable. The location was incredibly peaceful, right next to the beach and just a short drive from a delightful town. We would definitely stay here again!

We had an incredible stay at a lodge in Oamaru. the hosts went out of their way to accommodate us, even providing an extra bed for our son. the warm and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home. the hot tub was a highlight, especially for our 11-year-old. As a foodie, I was pleased with the well-equipped kitchen. the immaculate bathrooms and the proximity to the beach and fossil hunting were definite bonuses. We were also pleasantly surprised at how close the lodge was to town, with easy access to a food store and restaurants. We're already planning to bring more family next time. This place is perfect for all, including those with limited mobility.
