We had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel in Thun. The room was spacious and beautifully furnished, with a view of the stunning castle. Despite being on a main road, the noise was minimal when the windows were closed. We especially loved the additional lounge chair for our 8-year-old and the convenient pantry corner for snacks. The staff was friendly and even offered to send a postcard for free. The breakfast, although limited in options, was still enjoyable, especially the boiled eggs and yogurt. The hotel also provided great value for money. Despite a few minor inconveniences, such as roadworks outside the hotel and some outdated decor, we would definitely recommend this hotel to others. our experience at this hotel was positive and memorable.

This hotel is a gem! The rooms are comfortable and clean, and some even have a balcony with a view of the castle. The staff are friendly and attentive, going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast, although simple, is included and provides everything we need to start our day.

my family and i recently stayed in thun and decided to give this hotel a try. emmental exceeded our expectations with its helpful staff, clean rooms, and amazing view from the balcony. we also enjoyed the convenient location and plentiful breakfast. overall, it was an excellent deal and we would definitely stay here again.

Great shower and comfortable beds, with spacious bedrooms. the hotel is located in the charming old town area, close to many restaurants and shops. Across the street from the hotel, there's a fascinating castle that is definitely worth a visit.

The noise levels were high, even with windows closed, making it difficult to sleep at night. the rooms lacked some necessary amenities like fans for hot weather, and the shower heads were difficult to use, and shower height was awkwardly low.
