The location of this hotel is excellent, right next door to a restaurant and close to popular attractions like Waitomo caves. It's convenient to have everything within easy reach.

All was well, no improvements needed.

The free breakfast was diverse and delicious, and the bed was really comfortable. the staff was friendly and helpful, giving us recommendations on where to eat and what to see in the area. the location was perfect, being close to key tourist spots.

The bathroom was small and the heater was too noisy. the noise from neighboring rooms and guests was also disruptive to our sleep.

The communication before arrival was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful upon check-in. Interconnecting rooms were spotless with comfortable beds. Free breakfast was a bonus. Shared lounge and outdoor seating were convenient.

Our recent stay at the Fatowl Motel, Bar & Eatery was absolutely delightful. The themed decor throughout the establishment, especially the owl motifs, added a unique and charming touch. The breakfast room and communal area were wonderful assets, and we thoroughly enjoyed our continental breakfast in the lovely outdoor space. The rooms and bathrooms were impeccably clean, and the connecting door allowed for easy access for our family. The beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The location of the motel was perfect for exploring Waitomo. We had an amazing dining experience at the onsite restaurant/bar, with delicious food and a friendly staff. I highly recommend this hotel for its cleanliness, comfort, and convenient amenities.

That we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer and fully enjoy everything the Fatowl Motel, Bar & Eatery had to offer. However, this just means we will have to come back again in the future!

Nice shared kitchen, tea making facilities, Fat Pigeon cafe nearby, clean and tasteful decor, off-street parking.
