I recently stayed at Pacific Coast Lodge in Mount Maunganui for a week. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the location was perfect - just a short walk to the supermarket and beach. The facilities were clean and well-maintained, especially the spacious kitchen and outdoor seating area. I especially appreciated the ample storage space for my food and the numerous fridges. one of the best hostels I've ever stayed in!

We had a great stay at this place. The location was perfect with a bus stop right in front, making it convenient to explore nearby areas. The room amenities, such as the heating and terrace, provided enhanced comfort during our stay. We also enjoyed the shared kitchen facilities and the dining area, which were well-maintained and allowed us to prepare our own meals. The staff here truly went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant and enjoyable experience for us.

With a great location just a short walk from the beach and conveniently close to a small supermarket and even a fast-food restaurant, it was easy to find everything I needed. the hostel staff was also incredibly friendly and accommodating, offering suggestions for local activities and even helping me find work in the area. Plus, the shared spaces were always clean and well-maintained.

The room was incredibly cramped, and there was barely enough space to move around or store all my belongings. It was also uncomfortable to share such a small room with so many people.

The location of the lodge is quite fortunate as it is situated in a park, making it a relaxing and peaceful environment. It is also conveniently located within a short walk to the center of town where you can find all the bars and attractions. Additionally, a supermarket is not far away, making it easy to stock up on groceries during your stay.

The noise level can be a concern as the walls are paper thin, allowing for disturbances from both the corridors and the nearby car park, which can disrupt a good night's sleep.
