The motel was clean and the bed was comfortable. the location was close to town, gas station, and takeaways. Being one of the first few people in the caves made it peaceful and allowed us to enjoy the experience.

The motel lacked a kitchen in the unit, which made it inconvenient for preparing meals. the lack of a kitchen and the noise were the two main drawbacks of our experience at this motel.

Reasonable price, very clean, love the little patio on first floor rooms. Free parking, easy drive to Waitomo caves. Lovely bakery open early for breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff, even called about a forgotten shirt. Great location for exploring.
