The value for money at Castle Inn was excellent, and the room was cozy and clean. The location was beautiful, with a lovely walk to a hilltop fort offering stunning panoramic views. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making our stay very enjoyable.

The food was absolutely delicious, especially the steak and ale pie. the portions were generous and the prices were reasonable. the staff were friendly and helpful, even packing us a lunch for our early train departure. the bed in our room was huge and very comfortable. the views from the garden were stunning and made for a relaxing atmosphere. a great place to eat and stay.

The breakfast room was also a bit chilly in the morning. It would have been nice to have more temperature control options.

I had a lovely stay at a charming village pub with delicious food. The twin room was spacious and the meals were reasonably priced. The bar staff, Ying, was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home. I would highly recommend this place for a wonderful experience.

Was pleasantly surprised by the spacious bedroom with scenic countryside views. the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Despite ongoing renovations, it did not disrupt our stay. Will definitely be returning later this year. Convenient parking available.

I have to say, I got fantastic value for my money at Castle Inn. The room was spotless and had all the comforts I needed. The location was simply stunning, surrounded by beautiful countryside. The staff treated me like royalty, always friendly and helpful.

The breakfast for vegetarians was lacking in variety and imagination. the beds in the rooms were uncomfortable, as they were two single beds pushed together, creating an uncomfortable ridge in the middle.

We had to wait for ages for someone to check us in, and when they finally did, they seemed disinterested and unhelpful. the staff seemed more interested in chatting with each other than helping guests.
