We had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The location was excellent, with easy access to restaurants, pubs, and the beach. The service was top-notch, with friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to accommodate us. They even provided kayaks and bikes for hire, which made exploring the area so much more enjoyable. The hotel itself had all the amenities we needed, including a shared kitchen, comfortable rooms, and a lovely outdoor dining area. The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming, making us feel right at home. We would highly recommend this place to our family and friends.

Although the hotel is not the greatest, there were plenty of off-street parking and the neighborhood felt safe for leaving our vehicle overnight. The only downside was that the hotel lacked a common/shared bathroom, so we had to go back to our room whenever we needed to use the facilities.

The bathrooms and kitchen were always kept clean, providing a pleasant experience for guests. The bathrooms also had netting, allowing for privacy without needing to draw the curtains during the day.

The room itself was quiet and well-designed, with a comfortable mattress that allowed for a great night's sleep. Nearby bars and cafes didn't disturb the peaceful atmosphere of the hostel. The hostel also had a well-equipped kitchen and common area, although a shared bathroom would have been a nice addition. it was a fantastic place to stay, especially for families, with a spacious lounge and friendly staff.

I had a very pleasant stay at a conveniently located lodge. The room was clean and comfortable, perfect for my budget accommodation needs. The cooking facilities were excellent, and I enjoyed using the BBQ. The host, Bryan, was incredibly helpful and even helped me book a fantastic Bay of Islands cruise where I got to see a pod of dolphins. Bryan also gave me great sightseeing tips for the rest of my trip. Despite the noise from the nearby Jazz festival, the lodge provided earplugs to ensure a peaceful sleep. I would highly recommend this lodge for its great value and helpful host.
