I recently stayed at Piha Beachstay and had a wonderful time! The staff was friendly, the environment was relaxing, and the location was perfect! With hiking trails nearby and the beach just a short walk away, there was plenty to do and see. The communal space was beautiful and well-equipped, and the dorms were spacious and clean. it was a great value for money and I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

The Geological History of the Waitakere Ranges dates back a whopping 22 million years, making me feel like a mere blip in time. Plus, Piha Beach is perfect for surfers and nature lovers like me.

Oh, who needs staff engagement? It's not like I want to feel welcome and comfortable at a hotel or anything.

The hostel was like a large comfy house, with a huge living room and very clean kitchen. The porch and garden were magical, with a stunning view of the green hill. The shared facilities were well-maintained and spacious, with a inviting shared lounge and plenty of entertainment options.

There was nothing I didn't like.

The room was clean and comfy, and the value for money was excellent. The location was perfect, with a short stroll to the stunning beach. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the resident cat added some extra charm to the place.

The breakfast experience could be improved by having more cutlery readily available.

Absolutely nothing.

As a light sleeper, I appreciated the quietness of the location and the comfortable rooms. The sliding door onto the private deck was a nice touch, especially for parking close by.

We had a fantastic stay at Beachstay Accommodation. the location was perfect, just a short 10-minute walk to both the beach and the trails. the atmosphere was peaceful and quiet, allowing for a truly relaxing experience. the communal areas, such as the kitchen and lounge, were well-equipped and felt like a home away from home. We loved our en-suite room with patio doors that opened up to the beautiful garden. the allocated parking right next to our room was an added convenience.

the property is located just a short walk from the beach, making it convenient for beachgoers. the common area is spacious and well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen, tables, couches, and bean bags. the large slider opens up to bring in fresh air, creating a pleasant atmosphere. the private room with a bathroom that I stayed in was comfortable and clean. the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Jeff who provided great hiking recommendations. Beachstay Accommodation offers a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

We had an amazing stay at Beachstay Accommodation in Piha. the hostel exceeded our expectations with its lovely ensuite room, comfortable bed, and clean bathroom. the main relaxation area with an open fire and plenty of seating space was perfect for unwinding. the well-equipped kitchen and ample storage space made it convenient for longer stays. the beautiful gardens and friendly staff added to the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. Watching the sunset and surfers from the beach was a highlight.
