Our stay at Ratanui Lodge was worth every penny. The room was beautifully renovated and the attention to detail was impeccable, from the cozy beds to the luxurious bathrobes. The location was perfect and the staff treated us like family, providing excellent recommendations and making us feel right at home.

The only thing that could have made the breakfast better would be if the bread had been toasted to avoid it becoming soggy.

We had an amazing romantic escape! The spacious rooms and beautiful antique furniture gave the lodge a luxurious feel. The gourmet meals were delicious, and the well-chosen wine list was a great bonus. The staff were attentive and made us feel welcome. The location was perfect, with a terrace outside our room where we could enjoy our morning tea with a view. And the best part was the resident bird, whose incredible songs filled the air.

While the lodge was wonderful, it was slightly overpriced compared to similar luxury accommodations we've stayed in New Zealand. it would have been nice to have a sea view from our room.

The staff provided excellent hospitality, ensuring a pleasant stay. Rooms were cozy with pre-heated heating, great for cooler days. The decor had a unique mix of modern and traditional styles. The bed was large and exceptionally comfortable. The cuisine, made with local ingredients, was deliciously presented.
