The location of this hotel is mind-blowing! It's within walking distance to so many shops, bars, and restaurants in the city center. And if you're feeling lucky, the casino is connected too! Plus, there's plenty of free public parking available on weekends. The staff here are super accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure my mum felt safe and comfortable in our room. The breakfast spread was jaw-dropping, with a wide variety of delicious food and drinks. The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. The hotel also has great amenities like a fitness studio, indoor swimming pool, and a business center. an amazing stay with top-notch service!

We absolutely loved staying at this hotel! The location was perfect for us, with plenty of nearby attractions and amenities. We were able to visit the Speights Brewery and Ale House for a tour and meal, and the Crown Hotel with its dart boards, both of which were very close. The convenience of having a central location made exploring the area a breeze, and the fact that there was hotel parking right next door and a casino nearby was an added bonus.

We were pleasantly surprised by our recent stay at Scenic Hotel Southern Cross. The location was fantastic, close to cafes and restaurants, making it convenient to explore the area. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a big bed and cozy pillows that ensured a good night's sleep. We also appreciated the excellent shower, even though the shower over the bath was a bit slippery. The curtain pulled back easily, giving us a sense of privacy in the room. The hotel's attention to sanitization was commendable, especially during these uncertain times. we felt welcomed and enjoyed our "old peoples" escape at Scenic Hotel Southern Cross.

Good location near Octagon area. Casino in the building was fun. Room facilities were good. Excellent staff, Gabriel and Melissa.

The room was relaxing and the pillows were sooo comfy. The late night snack was prompt and yummy. The breakfast was also overindulgent. As a woman traveling alone, I had a peaceful timeout and control of the TV remote. Will definitely stay here again.

Although there were some issues with staff training when the manager decided to close, I would still recommend this hotel to friends. The leisure facilities, such as the fitness studio, were also very convenient and added to the overall experience.

We had a fantastic stay in a spacious room that offered every creature comfort we needed. The location was perfect, as we were in the middle of the building, close to everything Dunedin has to offer. The room was clean and well-maintained, and the bathroom was spacious and modern. The service provided by the staff was outstanding, they were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast at the Casino restaurant, and the view from our room was stunning.

The food at the restaurant was average, but I think we've just been spoilt during our holiday so far when it comes to food.

Got some cool complimentary stuff when we got to our room. The hotel was well-located to attend an event nearby. The bed was comfy enough to sleep well.

The room was cramped and had too much furniture in it. We couldn't easily access food in the evening as most of the restaurants were closed.
