We had a very enjoyable stay in a cozy and comfortable room with a sunroom attached. The beautiful surroundings and peaceful atmosphere were a highlight. The hosts were excellent, providing a delicious continental breakfast in a lovely conservatory. We loved the sound of silence and the well-maintained grounds, including the robotic lawn mowers. The homemade jam added a homely touch to our stay.

The bathroom and toilet venting into the bedroom through a gap near the ceiling was a privacy concern for my husband and me.

I had a recent stay at a lovely place called Silverdale Garden Studio. The room was incredibly cosy and comfortable, providing a perfect retreat after a long day of travel. The gardens surrounding the property were absolutely stunning, creating a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The hosts, Selwyn and Dellis, were incredibly welcoming and friendly, ensuring that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. They even provided me with great recommendations for local restaurants. Breakfast was well catered for and the private conservatory off the bedroom was a great space to relax and unwind. I would highly recommend this hidden gem for a short stay.

The breakfast was great, and the bed was very comfortable. the location was perfect, close enough to easily get to Auckland, but without all the noise and hustle and bustle. We also loved that it was so quiet and peaceful, a great place to relax.

The entrance off the main road was a bit difficult to find, but once we did, the busy road was quickly forgotten. We also would have liked to have had a bit more counter space, but it wasn't a major issue.
