As avid trekkers, we loved the peaceful and serene location of Solitaire Lodge, surrounded by nature and free from light pollution. The included meals were divine, and the in-room massages were outstanding. Special mention to Suz, who provided great local advice.

We felt incredibly welcome at Solitaire Lodge, and there was nothing to complain about.

The views from our room were absolutely stunning, with floor to ceiling windows offering breathtaking views of the lake. the room itself was spacious and beautifully renovated, with a lovely terrace to relax on. the food in the dining room was excellent, with tasty and inventive dishes that satisfied our taste buds. the staff, especially Michael, Teresa, and Gill, were friendly and attentive.

The inclusive tariff was confusing, as it was not clear what was included and what was charged extra. the dinner menu, although tasty, felt a bit old-fashioned and lacked variety.
