Had a fantastic time at this hotel in Lake Tekapo! the rooms were spacious and never felt crowded, with plenty of room for everyone's belongings. the bathrooms were kept clean and there were bath mats provided. the instant coffee, tea bags, and chocolate powder were a nice touch and free. the staff were friendly and cared about the hostel, making our stay enjoyable. the location was perfect, right next to Lake Tekapo and the Dark Sky Reserve office. Perfect for exploring the area!

The common space felt crowded at times, especially in the evenings. the design of the common area could use improvement to alleviate the feeling of claustrophobia.

I had a fantastic stay at this backpackers. The location was perfect, right in the center of everything but still tucked away enough to be quiet. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with cozy beds and a lovely skylight. Additionally, the water pressure in the showers was excellent, and the whole place was extremely clean.

All was good.

stay in tekapo backpackers was a great value, right by the lake and dark sky reserve. rooms spacious with comfy beds and a warm vibe. bathrooms can get busy in the evening. clear directions for check-in. close to supermarket and ample public parking. helpful staff and clean facilities.

my second visit to tekapo was made unforgettable by stay in tekapo backpackers. located just a minute's walk from the lake, the spacious rooms and well-equipped kitchen provided great value for my money. friendly staff and clean facilities added to a perfect stay.

The bed was incredibly comfortable and provided a good night's sleep. The room was spacious and had ample space for luggage. The location was convenient, with key attractions within walking distance. the staff were friendly and accommodating.

The kitchen was too small for the number of guests, leading to a dirty and unpleasant environment. the common space felt overcrowded and lacked proper maintenance, with dirty dishes and broken facilities contributing to a negative experience.

I had a great stay at this budget accommodation. The location was fantastic, being right beside the city and close to restaurants and the only grocery store in town. The room was warm and well-lit, with extra blankets provided. The bathrooms were clean and had bath mats for convenience. I also appreciated the functional kitchen and the supply of hot chocolate, tea, coffee, and milk.

That there was only one power socket available in the room and it was far away from my bed.
