I had the most amazing stay at a hidden gem in Lochmara Bay. The views from my room were absolutely stunning, with large windows that overlooked the beautiful bay. The room itself was spacious and had a big kitchen, perfect for cooking my own meals. The owners were incredibly welcoming and paid attention to every detail. I loved how tranquil and beachy the decor was, it really added to the overall experience. Another pleasant surprise was having a washer and dryer in my apartment, making laundry a breeze. The location was perfect for hiking the Queen Charlotte trail, and the owner provided helpful suggestions for which sections to explore. I highly recommend this resort for its stunning views, spacious rooms, and big kitchen. It's a place where you can truly relax and unwind.

Great view and location near the beach, perfect for walks and enjoying the scenery. The room size was adequate, and the open plan design added some character to the interior. Staff was helpful and accommodating during our stay

The motel was outdated with uncomfortable beds and poor quality pillows that needed replacement. Cleaning was an issue since the room was not cleaned during our stay.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem in Lochmara Bay. Everything was just perfect. The room was clean, well-equipped, and extremely comfortable. The view from our large deck was breathtaking, especially during sunset. The staff at Te Mahia Bay Resort were delightful and made us feel right at home. The beautiful gardens and peaceful surroundings added to the tranquility of our stay. We also appreciated the convenience of having a store on-site and the option to have our bags picked up from the ferry service. it was a wonderful experience that we would gladly repeat.

Gorgeous bay views from bed, convenient beach access, and delicious freshly baked bread in the morning. Location is great, with abundant birdsong and clearly articulated rules. Spacious, comfortable motel unit with well-equipped kitchen and friendly staff. Beautiful room with large windows and a deck overlooking the bay, plus a washer and dryer. Perfect location for hiking Queen Charlotte trail, with helpful owner.

Te Mahia Bay Resort Lochmara Bay offers superb accommodation right by the water's edge. The rooms, with their lovely decor overlooking the bay, are a perfect retreat for a peaceful getaway. The hotel's location, close to the beach, provides amazing views that will leave you in awe. The staff is friendly and accommodating, making sure your stay is nothing short of wonderful.
