I recently had a fantastic stay at a charming hotel located above a lively pub. The value for money was excellent, especially considering the great prices offered. The attention to detail in the rooms was impressive, with basic amenities and even a kitchenette with coffee supplies. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. Additionally, the location was perfect, allowing easy access to various attractions and activities.

Although there was one small aspect that could be improved, overall, this hotel provided an enjoyable experience.

I recently stayed at a charming hotel in Methven and I must say, my experience was exceptional. The staff went above and beyond to assist me after a car accident, providing us with extended kitchen hours, lending us chargers, and even offering to drive us to Christchurch. Their friendliness and helpfulness during a difficult time were truly remarkable. The room itself was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy bed and all necessary amenities provided. The shared lounge area and kitchen were well-maintained and convenient. The location was also ideal, with a nearby supermarket and a tasty burger/pizza place just a block away. Additionally, the hotel is only a short drive from the stunning Rakaia Gorge Walkway, perfect for a scenic stroll. I had an amazing stay and would highly recommend this hotel.

We went to celebrate New Year's Eve with a group of friends and we were pleasantly surprised by our accommodation. the space was larger than we expected and very comfortable, with a separate lounge and outdoor patio. the staff were friendly and provided us with big fluffy towels and toiletries. the hotel was conveniently located near supermarkets and restaurants, and only a short drive from a beautiful river walkway.

the noise from nearby exhausts was audible throughout the night, which made it difficult to sleep at times. However, overall it was a great experience and we would consider staying again in the future.
