From the tiny kitchen sink to the strangely placed bathroom door, it was like a puzzle. But the free laundry was a win! the room was cozy, and I enjoyed the peace. A nice spot for a short break, just watch out for the bumblebees. Kiwi pragmatism at its finest! .

The location was great with a good lunch recommendation. The room was clean and comfortable, communication was easy. The kitchenette was well, equipped. We appreciated the contactless check, in and late check, out. Only downsides were the unreliable wifi, lack of bathroom extractor fan, and dark curtain. Staff were lovely.

The wifi connection was intermittent and the free wifi provided was not the best. Additionally, there could have been better ventilation in the bathroom.

We had a really nice stay at Claremont Motel. the two-bedroom unit was perfect for our family with kids. the underfloor heating and gas fireplace kept the whole house warm during our winter visit. the kitchen facilities were surprisingly well-equipped, even with serving plates and cheese plates. the location just outside of town was convenient, and we enjoyed the short walk to the square with restaurants and shops. the motel was clean and had beautiful grounds, with picnic tables and an outdoor chess set. the staff were friendly and welcoming. a great place to stay.

We stayed at Claremont Motel for a weekend getaway and it was perfect for two couples. The private room, modern facilities, and amazing view made it an awesome stay. The spacious rooms, nice bathroom, and private deck area were a great plus. The friendly hosts were very helpful, even changing our flat tire in minutes. Free laundry service was a nice touch. we loved our stay and would definitely come back.

I had such a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel! The accommodation was absolutely outstanding - spacious, beautifully furnished, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The large beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was fantastic. I loved the well-equipped kitchen and the large lounge area. The hotel also had a beautiful garden area with plenty of seating, providing a lovely view. The parking was excellent too. I couldn't fault a thing and wished I could take this place along with me for the rest of my trip through New Zealand!

We had a fantastic time staying at this charming motel just outside the city centre. The location was perfect, with the Wine Bar only a short walk away. The owner and staff were incredibly helpful and made us feel right at home. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely patio to relax on. We also enjoyed the soothing spa bath in the bathroom. a delightful place to stay.

The blinds in the room were missing, which affected the privacy and did not meet our expectations.

A great place for team building activities - like trying to fit in the single bed under the stairs. Plenty of wine options in the region- to help forget the bloodstains on the curtains.

the 1-bedroom/studio we stayed in was clean and comfortable. the mezzanine queen bed was cozy, and we appreciated the ironing facilities and air conditioning. the kitchenette was well-equipped with everything we needed, including a microwave, fridge, and tea/coffee making facilities. the bathroom had all the necessary amenities, including soap, shampoo, and a hairdryer. the location was easy to find and the check-in process was hassle-free. the staff was friendly and courteous, making our stay even more enjoyable. We loved the small deck outside with chairs to relax and enjoy the surroundings.

Stayed for thanksgiving and enjoyed the easy check-in process and location close to shops and restaurants. Also enjoyed the clean and well-equipped kitchenette that had everything we needed for cooking. the surrounding environment was peaceful, and we appreciated the small deck with outdoor chairs to enjoy the view.

the walls were thin, and we were disturbed by noise from the neighbors at night. These factors negatively affected our experience at the hotel and would deter us from returning in the future.
