We had an amazing stay at a charming hotel in a bustling area. The location was perfect, with a great vegetarian cafe just across the street. Although it was a bit noisy until about 11pm, it didn't bother us much. The room had a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, and the bathroom was nicely renovated. The staff provided excellent service and made us feel welcome. The breakfast was delicious, and we enjoyed the view of the city from our balcony. The hotel also had complimentary snacks and sustainable amenities.

That the central heating and cooling system couldn't be individually controlled in each room.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! the location was perfect - so close to everything you need, including public transport. Secondly, the staff were amazing and provided excellent service. Lastly, the rooms with a balcony on the upper level were a great touch, with their own patio for relaxation. Plus, breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus.

The coffee shops nearby were amazing, and the hotel was accommodating by letting me shower and store my bags before my room was ready. the complimentary parking was also a bonus.

While the building itself had character and style, the noise level was high due to the old windows and doors. Unfortunately, the noise made it difficult to make phone calls and sleep in.

We loved the Italian countryside B&B feel of this hotel with its modern Kiwi flair. The location was perfect, just minutes away from popular areas like Ponsonby and K'Rd. The hotel staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The facilities were clean and tastefully decorated. We also appreciated their commitment to sustainability with large containers of toiletries instead of small bottles. The snacks provided with our tea were a nice touch.

Beautiful design features with a balcony room. Clear views of the city and stunning stained glass at nearby church. Comfy bed and lovely character. Owner's efforts to restore the old building are commendable. Highly recommended to family and friends.

We had a short but delightful stay at The Convent Hotel. The staff were friendly and went above and beyond to accommodate us, allowing us to store our luggage and freshen up before check-in. The room was cozy and clean, with a beautifully clean bathroom. The underfloor heating in the shower was a pleasant surprise, and the amenities provided were of nice quality and smelled divine. The free snacks and hot beverages added a thoughtful touch to our stay. We also loved the hotel's charming interior design and the convenient location close to Ponsonby.

Converted monastery, modern flair, clean terrace room, reasonable price, great location near Ponsonby and K'Rd, enjoyed walking to Ponsonby.

We were lucky to stay at The Convent Hotel during a sudden flight cancellation. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, making us feel welcome and taken care of. The hotel itself is charming and beautifully restored, with characterful interior design. The location is great, with easy access to Ponsonby and a variety of excellent restaurants nearby. The shower in our room was fantastic and the compact size was suitable for a short stay. Despite a few minor inconveniences, overall I would highly recommend this hotel for its warmth, charm, and excellent service.
