Spent a wonderful Easter weekend at a cozy accommodation. Loved the complementary coffee and tea, and the bottle of wine upon arrival was a lovely touch. the location was perfect: just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, and bars in the town center, and the stunning lakeside promenade. enjoyed the stunning views from the upper-level apartment and the air conditioning made it immensely comfortable, even on a hot day.

While the apartment was well-equipped, the decor was a bit outdated, and the bathroom could do with renovating. the mattress was a tad too firm for our liking, which was a bit uncomfortable during the night.

Spacious and clean rooms with comfy beds and a bonus lake view. Enjoyed the private outdoor seating area. Friendly host and chat with other guests. Convenient location for walking to lake, shops, and restaurants.

This place had the perfect location, just a short walk away from town and with stunning views of the lake. The room was spotlessly clean and had everything I needed, including ironing facilities and a cozy sitting area. The staff was incredibly helpful and accommodating, and the outdoor facilities were beautiful. I particularly loved the garden furniture and the sun terrace, which were perfect for enjoying the beautiful weather.

Unfortunately, we had a noisy start to our day due to loud conversations outside our window by tradesmen working on another unit. The living/dining area was a bit cramped for our family, but we made it work. Despite these minor drawbacks, our stay at The Moorings Motel was enjoyable. The friendly and efficient check-in process set a positive tone for our stay, and the staff were always on hand to assist us. The location of the motel was excellent, with shops and restaurants within walking distance. We also had a beautiful view of the lake and surrounding mountains, adding to the overall relaxation of our stay. I would recommend The Moorings Motel for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient accommodation option in Wanaka.
