The location was absolutely amazing, close to everything we needed. The two bedroom apartment was the perfect space for us - quiet, clean and felt like a home away from home. The owners were incredibly helpful and friendly, allowing us to check in early at no extra charge and giving great dinner recommendations. We felt truly valued as guests. This place offered great value for money and ticked all the boxes and more! Plus, the decor was super cool and relaxing.

Great location by the river and easy walking distance to the town center. , enjoyed the characterful external appearance of the property.

The rooms were basic and in need of updating, which didn't match the overall charm of the property. the uneven floors were a bit bothersome and there was a strong smell in the flat that required keeping windows and doors open for the whole afternoon.

I got great value for my money at Waimarie. The room was spacious, comfortable, and had a private balcony. The location was perfect, close to town yet felt peaceful by the riverside. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my stay.

Amazing terrace with a river view, perfect for trout-watching. The motel and apartment combination is ideal for an awkward family reunion or a business conference filled with small talk and awkward handshakes.

Who needs pesky doors and windows? Just keep them open and let the smoke and noise from other guests entertain you all night.

For the price we paid, we got a great value - a spacious room with a comfortable bed and a fully-equipped kitchen. The location was perfect, nestled by the river and just minutes away from the town center. The friendly staff made our stay even more enjoyable.

We recently stayed at a charming riverside motel in Nelson. the Queen room was newly renovated with a private balcony featuring two outdoor chairs, perfect for enjoying the tranquil surroundings. We loved the convenient location near a supermarket and the Suter Art gallery. It was also within walking distance of the town center and the iconic Centre of NZ, offering stunning views over Nelson and the rural hills.

The location of the hotel is ideal as it is within walking distance to the supermarket, amazing restaurants, and the "centre of NZ". The room is spacious with a separate living/kitchen area, and there is a balcony which offers privacy. The hosts are welcoming and friendly, and the facilities are well-equipped.

There was slight noise from the floor above, which could be slightly annoying.
