The location was perfect - close to town and with stunning views. Kaz was fantastic and the breakfast was great. The lodge was well-appointed with lovely rooms. The hosts were welcoming and we enjoyed the company of their dogs.

Great value for money, the rooms were amazing - big and clean, with heated floors in the bathroom. The lodge is in a peaceful location, just a short drive from the town centre. The staff were welcoming and friendly, offering good chats by the communal fireplace.

The breakfast could have been better with more variety or options.

We had a fantastic stay at a lovely hotel with a beautiful mountain view. The room was spacious and well-equipped, with a separate work area. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the facilities were of high quality. We appreciated the effort made to organize a helicopter ride over the glaciers. The location was convenient, just a short drive from town. The cozy fire in the main house was the perfect place to relax with a beer and pet the owner's dogs. We couldn't have been happier with the whole experience.

I recently stayed at a lodge in Franz Josef for a few nights. The location was perfect, just a two-minute walk to the town center. The lodge was well appointed with great amenities, including a communal fireplace and outdoor seating area with stunning mountain views. The room itself was spacious and had a separate work station, which was convenient. The bathroom with heated floors was a luxurious touch. The hosts were welcoming and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable, even arranging a helicopter ride over the glaciers. a fantastic and enjoyable stay at this lodge.

I had a fantastic stay at the lodge. The location was perfect, just a quick walk from the town center. The rooms were spacious and well-appointed, and I loved the manuka aroma outside. The breakfast provided was delicious and the staff, particularly Kaz, were friendly and helpful. The surrounding landscape views were absolutely breathtaking.
