I recently had the pleasure of staying at a hotel in Hokitika and I must say, it exceeded my expectations. the location was fantastic, right in the center of town next to a micro brewery. It made exploring the area so convenient and fun. Secondly, the service provided by the staff was exceptional. They were attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was enjoyable. Lastly, the basic amenities in the rooms were great. The comfortable beds and concrete floors gave the rooms a modern and clean feel. The breakfast provided was also delicious and gave me a good start to the day.

Everything was satisfactory.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a micro brewery, providing easy access to great local beer. Additionally, it is right in the centre, making it convenient for exploring the area. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the bathrooms are well-maintained. The staff provide good service and the breakfast options are delicious. The hotel also offers a great view of the surrounding landscape.

The hotel rooms are not soundproofed, so noise from the carpark can be heard.

During my recent business trip, I was pleased with the cleanliness and spaciousness of the accommodation. The rooms were well-kept, and the linen and towels were clean. The location was ideal, with easy access to the town center and surrounding attractions. the hotel offered a great dining menu that was reasonably priced.

There were some areas for improvement. The lack of seating in the room was a big inconvenience, as I prefer comfortable chairs to relax in after a long day.

Clean rooms with comfy beds, large bathroom for drying wet gear. Cosy atmosphere, mix of locals and tourists, friendly staff. Amazing food, generous portions. Netflix in rooms is a nice bonus.

We had a fantastic stay at a new hotel with a spacious room. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the bathroom was massive with a great shower. We enjoyed the beautiful view over the river and the on-site pub offered excellent food and drinks. I highly recommend this hotel for a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

The Woodstock Hotel in Hokitika is a fantastic place to stay. The pub across the car park serves amazing food with excellent service and friendly staff. The cottage is spacious with three bedrooms and plenty of indoor space. There is even a secure room for bikes and other belongings. The location is ideal, and the glow worm dell is just a short stroll away.
