A Relaxing Escape with Room for Improvement

During our stay, we enjoyed the stunning pool areas and easy beach access directly from our room's terrace. The staff were friendly, especially at the restaurants, enhancing our overall visit!

The beach is out of this world, really! Spent hours at that beautiful spot soaking up the sun. Had the most romantic dinner on a cliff—only two tables! And the daily happy hour was a lekker bonus, chilling with some tunes.

Only downside was the crowds at the pool—definitely a bit busy at times.

shangri-la is the cleanest hotel I've visited. the staff were always ready to help, making it a joy to stay. the pool view from the al waha family interconnecting room was beautiful, with no insects around. plus, it’s close to the airport, so it’s super convenient!

The stunning sea view from my room was breathtaking! The beach had fantastic amenities including chaise lounges and a cooler with free water, making my mornings pure bliss!

While the food was mostly good, I had one unsanitary experience at breakfast with children using their hands instead of tongs, which was concerning.

Had an awesome getaway with friends! Enjoyed the picturesque private cove for snorkeling and kayaking. The beach and pool area are great for relaxation. Don't miss out on visiting Marina Bandar Al Rowdha and Muttrah Corniche for local attractions. Overall, a relaxing experience with plenty to do!

Had a frustrating experience at checkout when our rental car retrieval took way too long. It stressed us out as we were in a hurry to get to the airport, and the staff didn't help much when we asked about it.

It was just a strong match for a fleeting trip in Muscat with fantastic value for money. We enjoyed the snorkelling trip where we spotted colorful fish and even a sea turtle, unforgettable! Look into the themed workshops—they're fun and engaging.

Staying here was a delight! The lazy river was a highlight, and my daughter loved it. We even explored the breathtaking cove perfect for snorkeling, and there were so many activities for families to enjoy!

For dads, it would be great if there were more dining options for families.

Ope, gotta say that the view from our room was just stunning, made waking up a joy! The staff were super kind, especially at breakfast. Each morning we were greeted with those cute towel animals, which the kids loved. Could use a tad more variety at the buffet, though, dontcha know?

We had such a fantastic time at this beautiful resort! The pool was immaculate, and the lazy river was pure bliss. However, some dining options were on the pricier side. Would definitely come back!

During our stay, the housekeeping staff were super accommodating,, working around my toddler's nap schedule without missing a beat. Each morning, we were greeted with unique towel animals that made us smile and kept the little one entertained.

absoluteley confusing meal plan options, I requested half-board but got charged full price—what a delightful surprise! not to mention the rowdy children making the samba restaurant a nightmare, had I known, I woudl ve been better prepared. also, a complimentary upgrade woudl ve been nice after such inconveniences. utterly disappointing, really.

Loved the kids club and pools. Valet parking took ages on departure.
