Great hospitality from the staff made us feel welcome.

Unfortunately, we faced significant issues during our stay. The air conditioning in our room struggled to keep up with the heat, making for a very uncomfortable night. Moreover, access to the beach was inconvenient as it required crossing a muddy flat, barely ideal for enjoying the ocean. Lastly, the shower drain was blocked, which detracted from our overall comfort and relaxation at the resort.

That said, getting to the beach was a workout. we had to cross a lagoon which was a hassle at high tide, and the sand burned our feet. The AC situation was bizarre—couldn't turn it off, which didn't feel very 'eco' to me. The lock on our room was finicky, and there was no clear signage about the rules on coolers or beach chairs. could've done better on communication. To top it off, we learned that breakfast ended at 9 AM, and everything seemed to come with an extra charge, making the whole experience feel less worth the price we paid.

the staff were really awsome! javier and carolina made our stay special. the food was super yummy, especially breakfast with pancakes and fresh fruit. the beach is right there so we could swim whenever we wanted. the resort was clean and modern, and the game area was fun for the kids.

I had a fantastic stay at San Carlos Surf Resort & Eco Lodge! The triple room was spacious enough for my family of four, and we loved relaxing in the hammocks and playing foosball after our beach adventures. The pancakes, eggs, and fresh fruit for breakfast were delicious, and the staff, especially Javier and Carolina, were super attentive and helpful, ensuring we had everything we needed during our stay.

a beachfront location sounds glamorous, but crossing a river just to reach the beach is ridicoulous! also, good luck sleeping through the noise—upstairs doors slamming at dawn, and dripping sounds in the bathroom. i clearly expected a complimentary breakfast after all the inconvenience but guess what? they only served till 9 AM! almost left a good review, but just couldn't.

A beautiful and unique beach getaway with charming rooms and a down-to-earth vibe. We enjoyed the peaceful beachfront and comfy beds. The restaurant offered decent food, and the playful game area was a hit with the family. Truly a wonderful experience, just minutes from the bigger beach. Perfect for families seeking relaxation!

I enjoyed the foosball and ping-pong during downtime. Breakfast options included pancakes and fruit, which were satisfying. As a fan of country music from Rome, I appreciated how the atmosphere helped me unwind.
