We had a wonderful stay at this hostel. the location was perfect, just a short walk to San Pedro Market. There were plenty of shops and restaurants nearby, making it very convenient. the facilities were clean and the beds were incredibly comfortable. the family who owned the hostel made us feel like part of their family. Despite a language barrier, they were warm and knowledgeable, helping us map out our trek and even storing our bags for us. a great experience.

Not easy to find

The hostel had beautiful wall paintings and a unique style, which added to its charm. The location was convenient, with a 10-15 minute walk to the main square and attractions nearby.-The staff at the hostel were friendly and welcoming, making me feel like family during my stay.

The mattress on the bed was quite hard, which made for a somewhat uncomfortable sleep. The communication with the staff was a bit challenging, as they didn't speak English well and sometimes seemed uninterested in understanding.

I had an amazing experience at this hostel! the family that owns the place is incredibly warm and helpful. the common areas and rooms are very comfortable, and there is a big supermarket and affordable restaurants nearby. the hostel also offers affordable tours, including trips to Maras, Rainbow Mountain, Humantay, and even Machu Picchu at a lower cost than other agencies. They even provided storage for my luggage while I went to Machu Picchu. Highly recommended!

My son's name is Orion, so when I found Orion supermarket close to Chelitos Backpacker, I knew it was the perfect location for us. The non-touristy area gave us a unique experience, especially with the festival happening in Plaza San Pedro. The train station being in the plaza was a big bonus for us. The owner was so accommodating, giving us a private room when our original arrangements were filled. The facilities were clean, the beds were comfy, and the staff made us feel like part of their family. We loved the helpfulness of Yta and Sara, who helped map out our trek to Machu Picchu. Storing our bags and even having someone to open the door for early check-ins made our stay even better.
