I recently stayed at El Tuco for a few nights during my visit to Cusco. The owner Ana was incredibly kind and welcoming, and the staff, especially Coco, were friendly and always available to help. The rooms were not modern, but they were very comfortable and clean, with a good bed and the best hot shower pressure I experienced during my entire trip in Peru. The location of the hotel was great, just a short 15-20 minute walk to the main plaza, with the option to store luggage. The fresh breakfast, with options like eggs or pancakes, was a delicious way to start the day. I had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel.

Coco, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure that all the guests were happy and taken care of. the colonial-style house, with its beautiful wooden floors and high ceilings, added a touch of charm to the place. the room I stayed in was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed. I also appreciated having a clean ensuite bathroom and access to a communal kitchen, which helped me save on dining expenses. the wifi was fast, and the shower had good pressure and always provided hot water. the location was convenient, with easy walking access to the historic old town in about 10 minutes.

The staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They spoke perfect English and were always willing to help with any questions or requests we had. the room we stayed in was spacious and spotlessly clean, and the bathroom had hot water that actually felt hot, which was a nice change. We also loved the fact that the hotel offered a delicious breakfast with options like tasty pancakes or eggs, along with fresh juice and bread.

One minor issue we had was that our room was located on the first floor, so we could hear the doorbell when people entered the hotel. there was no curtain above the door, so when someone walked in, light would enter the room while we were asleep.
